Francoise Gilot, a highly regarded international artist of the second half of the twentieth-century, has exhibited her work for more than fifty years in the major art centers of Europe and North America. She remains a vital presence in the art world, creating a bridge between the School of Paris of the 1940s and 1950s and the contemporary American art scene. In addition to her extensive and creative work as a printmaker, Gilot's oeuvre also includes over 1500 oils and more than 5000 works on paper.
