Manny Bustos is an orphan struggling to survive on the streets of Juarez, Mexico. Across the border is Sergeant Robert S. Locke, Vietnam vet and Army prefect, who tries to drink his bad memories away. On the night Manny tries to cross the Rio Grande and escape to a better life in America, the two meet in an explosive encounter.
