This substance is firmly embedded into the design of all TRIXIE Insect Shield products. Permethrin is an odourless, invisible substance which will effectively deter an insect from coming within 30 centimetres of the Insect Shield. Safe for both children, adults and their four-legged friends, it is perfect for trips to the park, nature walks, camping, etc. The mat can be washed at least 25 times before it starts to lose potency. Please be aware that neither Insect Shield products nor other insect protection products can guarantee perfect protection against insects or insect bites.
