Her remarkable writings demonstrate the deep faith and undaunted spirit that propelled her to offer untiring service as she ministered in Trinidad, Colorado, and in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sister Blandina describes her experiences with Native Americans, Hispanics, and Anglo newcomers as she taught school, built hospitals, visited jails, and reached out to every segment of society, even as she railed against the against the violence and injustices of the period. Reprinted in 2014 to include a new cover, chapter introductions, extensive footnotes, and introductory material to commemorate the approval of the cause for Sisters canonization. This edition was compiled and published directly by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati.
