Church Beyond the Congregation

For too long church-based activities have been separated from everyday Christian life in the workplace. It is time for the church to move beyond its present focus on the congregation. It is time to release the church from its containment in meetings and programs and equip it to be the body of Christ in all areas of life and work. This is the challenge issued by James Thwaites as he takes an in depth look at the Hebrew worldview revealed in Scripture and applies its understanding of creation to arrive at a new vision of, and strategy for, the church in a postmodern era.
