Desert Hawking II Updated

Desert Hawking II is a classic among falconry books, one you dont want to live without. The book enjoys many ground-breaking claims to fame. It is the first American book written by an avid falconer, Harry McElroy, who has succeeded with many raptor species and who hunts every day. Other firsts include treating quail as a primary quarry and the Coopers hawk as a manageable, useful hunting hawk. Desert Hawking II popularized the Harriss hawk in American falconry and introduced it to the rest of the world. Finally, Kenneth Tuttles chapter debuted the Sharp-shinned hawk. This updated, expanded masterpiece is even better than the original because its coverage now includes another desert hawk, the goshawk, and new guest contributions by Greg and Jamaica Smith.
