Glory to God (Purple Accompaniment Edition)

The new Presbyterian hymnal, Glory to God, will be published in September of 2013 but is now available for per-order for individuals and congregations. This new book of congregational song will include:

1. Glory to God (Purple Accompaniment Edition) Service for the lord's day Music & Hymns (1 - 449) Volume 1

2. Glory to God (Purple Accompaniment Edition) Hymns (450 - 853) Volume 2

The accompaniment edition of Glory to God hymnal includes: 800+ songs, Approximately 50% from the 1990 Presbyterian hymnal; Brief background and Scripture reference for each music piece. Music from 6 different continents; some songs include lyrics in Spanish and Korean characters. Music covering all major historical and contemporary sacred genres, including approximately thirty-five African American/Gospel hymns. Complete orders of services, worship aids, and other texts of worship. Eight comprehensive indexes. The Presbyterian version of Glory to God: The Presbyterian Hymnal and is stamped with the PC (USA) seal on the spine. The Ecumenical version does not have the seal. The contents of both editions are identical.
