Out with the old charts (boring, difficult, mind-numbing, and created 300 years ago.) -- and in with the new (fun, simple, friendly, revolutionary!) That means YOU can have fun learning French without all the hassle. Reviews say you can shave a year off studying. This is the un-grammar grammar book, written for beginners, intermediates, and travellers by a language lover who HATES memorizing verb conjugations. It took an award-winning author and polyglot to rethink French. It's a fast, fun, friendly look at the world of grammar. These verbs ride motorcycles, get into brawls, and argue over their accent marks. **** Quickly learn the four most useful verb tenses **** Meet the MOST WANTED verbs that you'll use all day long **** Discover a new, easy-to-use verb chart. (First new chart in over 300 years, since the French Academy launched it!) **** Learn the simple trick to express yourself in the future tense -- even if you can't yet conjugate in the future. **** Find out about the secret language you'll hear daily in France. **** Discover why 3 little words involving a train will be your new best friends. **** Meet the Kumbaya family who'll make learning verbs faster and easier. **** And much more! Get the tips, tricks, secrets and hacks that'll fast-forward you into the world of French speakers. PLEASE NOTE: This book received a 1-star review stating it contained errors, as stated by a French teacher. While all feedback is appreciated, this book had been edited by fluent French speakers including a native French teacher, 2 French university students, and a current college French professor. The book uses modern, conversational French that's spoken today rather than the more formal French often taught in schools. While some teachers prefer classical French, this book focuses on the French needed for today's real-world communications, as spoken outside of classrooms. Languages are ever-changing and evolving, and How to Cheat at French Verbs gives you the French you need for everyday life now. (Sorry, but incorrect, angry reviews drive me crazy. Ha!) Also, to learn the pronunciation ofallwords, online resources would be a better choice than this book. This verb book was never intended to be a guide to all French sounds. While I do give the pronunciation of many words, as that is a big hack, (i.e., not pronouncing all letters) this book was written to teach a simple way to learn verbs and lots of other French mots. ( A review gave 2 stars stating that this was not good to learn all letter sounds -- see I told you reviews drive me crazy!).) I do have resources in the book to hear accurate French.
