Cheating. Infidelity. Adultery. Research shows that infidelity impacts up to 70% of couples. However, it is a topic that is not usually discussed - one that might come with embarrassment, shame, judgement, etc. The path after discovery can be a difficult and lonely path. Infidelity changes everything. These workbooks have the power to help many couples. After discovery, people need help immediately. Counseling services sometimes have long waitlists and these workbooks can be used while waiting for services, to begin the path towards eventually healing. The workbooks can also be used in conjunction with counseling services to continue working on rebuilding the relationship outside of sessions. The workbooks were designed by therapists for the betrayed and the betrayerand created to help find clarity after a betrayal. The brilliant methodology of the workbook guides each person toward open communication, through the use of both individual and collaborative processing, allowing those involved to start on their path toward healing. NOTE: Couples will need to purchase both workbooks, as they are designed to go together. The two workbooks include the following: - Infidelity Journal: For the Betrayed Partner - Infidelity Journal: For the Partner who has Betrayed The workbooks have five main types of activities: Independent Journaling: These are the activities that each individual will complete on their own. It will be important to take time to process and answer each question honestly, thoughtfully, and thoroughly. Sharing: These activities are designed to help you share and process the work you did through independent journaling with your partner. The purpose of these assignments is to strengthen your relationship, improve communication, and increase understanding. Independent Processing: These activities are designed as a follow up after sharing. Conversations may trigger additional thoughts or feelings, and it is important to note these thoughts and feelings as they come up throughout this process. This section can also be used to take notes of important things that stood out to you during your conversation with your partner. Collaborative Processing: These activities are designed for you and your partner to work on together to establish goals or engage in open conversations about different topics. Activity: These are activities that are designed for you and your partner to take action and engage in together. Some of these activities may be challenging, as they may ask for you to connect to your partner while still feeling hurt.
