Assessment Booklet. BRIDGES to LITERATURE. The Reading Tests consist of a Placement Test, a Mid-Year Reading Test, and an End-of-Year Reading Test. The placement test should be used at the beginning of the year to help you determine your students' approximate reading levels and place them in appropriate materials. The Mid-Year and End-of-Year Tests may be used to check your students' reading progress later in the year.
