Description of the Sensor for Modbus:
If you are connecting multiple sensors to a PLC, configuration or programmable acquisition, the standard ModBus-RTU (hex transmit and receive) is recommended.
Standard ModBus-RTU
1. Serial port format
Data bit 8, stop bit 1, check bit none, baud rate 9600bps, serial debugging software set to hex send and receive, two communication interval of at least 1000ms, CRC in the manual for check bit, 2 bytes.
2. Register address
YGC-SM Soil integrated sensor can integrate up to 8 soil elements, namely soil temperature, soil moisture, PH, and soil nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content. Each element has its own register address.
Troubleshooting:
The sensor display value is incorrect when analog signal or RS485 output. The correct data cannot be obtained because the cable connection is faulty or the communication serial port is faulty. Check whether the cable connection is correct and secure, whether the serial port is occupied, and whether the serial port Settings are correct.
