A leaking injector sleeve on a 6.0L can result in compression pressure building in the cooling system and/or coolant making it's way into one or more cylinders (other possible causes are head gasket or EGR cooler failure). Additionally injector sleeve failure may cause coolant to be found around the base of the fuel injector in the cylinder head.
The OEM tool kit requires that the cylinder heads be removed from the vehicle in order to replace the sleeves.
