1、EXCITATION AND INTERFERENCE RESISTANT: MX322 is a three phase induction automatic voltage regulator that forms part of the brushless alternator excitation system. Excitation power is derived from the three phase permanent magnet generator(PMG), which insulates the AVR control loop from nonlinear loads and reduces RF interference to the generator terminals
2、HOW IT WORKS: Continuous alternator short circuit current is another characteristic of PMG system. The AVR senses the voltage in the main alternator windings and controls excitation to keep the output voltage of the alternator within specified limits, compensating for the alternator load speed, temperature, and power factor. 3、POWERFUL CAPABILITY: Exciter systems that use conventional, robust and mature phased controlled thyristor power level circuits, plus the additional capability to provide full wave output power during short circuit events
4、EFFECTIVE PROTECTION: The adjustable soft start circuit includes a frequency measurement circuit that provides a smooth control over the establishment of the alternator output voltage to continuously monitor the alternator shaft speed and provide underspeed protection for the excitation system by reducing the alternator output voltage in proportion to the speed below a pre set threshold. This feature is further enhanced to improve the response of turbocharged engines
5、ACCURATE CONTROL: Maximum excitation is limited to a safe period by internal shutdown of the AVR output device. This condition remains locked until the alternator has stopped. The AVR includes an overvoltage protection feature with the AVR output device internally turned off plus the ability to trip optional excitation circuit breakers if required. A remote voltage trimmer connection is provided, allowing the user to fine control the output of the alternator. Provides an analog input that allows connections to STAMFORD rate factor controllers or other external devices with compatible outputs
