Note:
1. About the battery, power supply, and standby
1.1. The camera is battery powered, and the battery life will be affected by the camera start up time and the number of start ups, so please set the usage environment correctly.
In places with heavy traffic, set the PIR sensor to off or low.
In moderately trafficked areas, set the PIR Sensor to medium.
In low traffic areas, set the PIR sensor to high.
Or set the time to automatically activate or deactivate the PIR sensor.
1.2. The camera will turn off automatically when the battery is low, so please charge it promptly when the camera does not have any indicator. To prevent the battery from over‑discharging and failing to start up.
1.3. When using solar power to power the camera, the normal operating voltage of the camera is 3.7V‑4.5V. Please fully charge the solar battery before first use.
When the battery voltage is higher than 3.7V, the camera can work normally.
When the battery voltage is lower than 3.7V, all lights of the camera will go out. Please charge the solar power in time.
1.4. When using the camera for the first time or re powering the camera, if the video screen prompts charging, it is because the camera is not reading the battery level.
Wait for a moment, reboot, and the battery information is OK.
2. About the network environment
2.1. Please use a 2.4G WiFi router to connect to the camera wirelessly. Currently, 5G router is not supported.
2.2. Please do not use the WiFi signal connection of the modem configured by the telecom operator.
2.3. Please install the camera within 10 meters from the router (if not, we recommend you to purchase an extension to boost WIFl)
2.4. Please make sure the phone network status is good when watching video remotely from your phone. If the phone network status is bad or stuck, please restart the phone or reopen the APP to watch.
2.5. When the camera is in network distribution mode for a long time, the blue light will keep flashing. In order to save power, the camera will turn off automatically after 5 minutes. If you need to turn it on again, please restart it.
2.6. When the camera is connected to the router successfully, the blue light will be on for a long time after the camera starts up, the mobile app can receive the push message but cannot watch the live video, please restart the app or install the camera in the nearby router.
2.7. Please tighten the WIFI antenna, otherwise it may cause the network distribution is not available or the video is not smooth.
3. About the PIR sensor
3.1. Please do not install the camera near air conditioners, microwave ovens, strong airflow and strong electromagnetic fields to prevent airflow and magnetic fields from causing false triggering. If installed in these environments, please turn off the PIR sensor for best results.
3.2. The camera uses a dual algorithm that detects human body sensing and screen changes to determine whether there are people in the surveillance area, so please avoid objects with periodic changes in the screen when installing the camera, such as leaves, wind blown flags, and other objects that are constantly moving.
3.3. When installing and fixing the camera, please fix it firmly. Avoid false alarms caused by wind.
3.4. When mounting the camera, do not point the lens directly at the sun. Sunlight contains a large amount of infrared rays, which will reduce the recognition rate of human body sensing.
3.5. When the ambient temperature is 36.5-37℃, the sensitivity of PIR sensor will be slightly reduced and its distance will be slightly reduced, which is a normal occasion.
3.6. The camera has a filter effect for pets under 30kg. For example, the camera will not be triggered when the family cat or puppy passes by the camera monitoring area.
3.7. Please refer to the manual to adjust the installation angle and height to make the PIR sensor achieve the best effect.
